Scope of this page

This page summarizes how the whitepaper describes identity verification, residency evidence, and on-chain screening. It is informational and does not replace a jurisdiction-specific product privacy notice that may apply when services are offered.

Verification tiers

Verification is tiered, and the tiers are functional rather than ceremonial. A base tier sufficient to hold a balance and trade spot requires identity and sanctions screening. Higher tiers unlock derivatives, primary-market participation, event markets, and higher withdrawal limits.

Residency evidence

Residency is determined from evidence rather than declaration alone — document issuance, device and network signals, payment instrument origin — because the cheapest way to defeat a geographic restriction is to move the dropdown.

Re-verification

The refresh schedule matters more than the onboarding gate. Tiered re-verification may be triggered by account behavior — for example a sudden tenfold increase in volume — so that a single-point verification does not leave live exposure untested.
